31 Why Do Bad Things Happen to Good People?

February 21- Mass Confusion: Do I Have to Go?
Why go to mass on Sunday? Can’t you just pray at home? But wait! If we truly believe that Jesus is really present in the Eucharist, we should be sprinting to mass and banging down the door to get in! Learn how to get more out of mass.
February 28- Desert-ed but Not Alone
Learn how to make the preparation for the resurrection of Jesus a special time in your life and not just a time where we give stuff up. This Lenten season let the youth group help call you out of the garden and into the desert with Christ.
March
March 7- Catholic Charades
Don’t say a word! But you and your teammates will be laughing out loud when they try to guess what Bible story or Christian expression you’re acting out!
March 14- Journey to the Center of the Gospels: The Beatitudes
The beatitudes were an important part of Jesus’ ministry; it is the heart, or center, of his preaching. But these teachings are radical and counter-cultural in a society that is obsessed with feeling good and being happy.Walk with us as we learn that Jesus’ path will ultimately fulfill our desire for happiness.
March 21- Eat This, Not That
Doesn’t it seem like pop culture is out to get Christians? On this youth-led night, your fellow teens will talk about how positive media choices can enrich your life.
March 26 & 28- Living Stations
The Stations of the Cross like you’ve never experienced them before, acted out by MOS youth. This presentation is a truly moving experience, and will help teens and adults alike to reflect on their Lenten journey and the sacrifices Christ made for us.

We’ll take a look at how the Church has overcome all of these obstacles in the past and even present day.
