Junior Youth Ministry (Grades 6-8)
Junior Youth Ministry is a Catholic youth group specifically designed for 6th, 7th and 8th graders. It is focused on building fun, healthy relationships with each other and empowering participants to become holy in today’s world, developing a deep relationship with Christ and his holy Catholic Church.

Unless otherwise noted, MOS Jr. Youth Ministry meets on Sunday afternoons, 4:30-5:45pm, in the FLC

January 17 Catholic Board Game Night!
Join us for a night filled with all of your favorite board games but with a Catholic twist! Game Night

January 31- JESUS ROCKS AND JESUS RULES
Our culture tells us that Jesus isn’t very cool. Come and find out from Mr. Kasun just how cool Jesus is and the rockin’ rules that he gave us.

February 14- Ranger Rosary
Make camouflage rope rosaries for soldiers, a fun and easy service project to support our troops! (Don’t know anything about the rosary? No worries—we’ll teach you!)

February 28 - Why do we celebrate that?
Ever wonder what makes our holy days (holidays) so special? Ever wonder why the church says that they are more special then other days? Well take your questions and answer them!

March 14- Beatitudes
Journey to the Center of the Gospels: The Beatitudes The beatitudes were an important part of Jesus’ ministry, but these teachings are radical and counter-cultural in a society that is obsessed with feeling good and being happy. Walk with us as we learn that Jesus’ path will ultimately fulfill our desire for happiness.  

March 26th and 28th - Living Stations of the Cross
The Stations of the Cross like you’ve never experienced them before, acted out by MOS youth. This presentation is a truly moving experience, and will help teens and adults alike to reflect on their Lenten journey and the sacrifices Christ made for us.

April 11 - We Are Family!
Who are the saints? Why do we pray to them? What does it mean that we’re all part of God’s family even in heaven? We’ll take a closer look at lives of the saints and you’ll be surprised how many of them started out just like you!

April 25- End-of the-Year Bash
What better way to end the year than a party? Fun, games, and good food!
